There is a wide variety of distinct species in the fish known as
`catfish.' Go into any large body of fresh water, you will find some
kind of catfish dwelling in the bottom - except Antarctica, of course.
In saltwater there are also several types of catfish.

Most catfish are small in size, about ten to fifteen pounds, and are
easily manageable. The older catfish can get huge with age.

The barbells distinguish the catfish from other fish. The barbells
aren't just for looks, they also feel. Just like a cat's whiskers, the
barbells are used to screen the environment and heighten the animal's
awareness of its surroundings. But unlike those on the cat, these
barbells come with an extra feature, taste!

Experienced fisherman know to be careful with this one - the ray that
sticks out of the catfish's pectoral fins. But there's another one on
the dorsal fin as well. This leading ray is very strong, and the
catfish can use it to excrete a powerful protein when it becomes
panicked or annoyed. This protein stings.

More than just stinging, the excretion can cause harm. I've heard of
some folks needing to go to the hospital after a catfish sting. There
is a catfish out there that doesn't carry these rays: the Electric
Catfish. But not so fast - they send out an incredible bolt of
electrical energy.

If you want to try a special way to catch catfish and you are up for a
challenge, leave your rod and reel behind and go noodling. Native
Americans used this method. Others picked it up in the early part of
the 20th century, and now it's a pastime.

If you want to start noodling, look for areas where catfish tend to
hide themselves, like the bottom sides of underwater logs and rocks. Of
course, this should be done in shallow water. This is done with a group
of spotters.

Now how does a noodler know it isn't a snake or turtle inside of the
promising spot? - they put a stick in the hole.

The noodler will then place a hand inside the hole - essentially, using
their own hand as bait. Catfish, being normal, will feel threated when
somebody sticks their hand in their living room - so of course the
bite.

At this point it's relatively easy for the noodler to pull it out
because the catfish tends to hold on when it bites.

After the fish is out, the team comes in to take the fish off of the
noodler's hand to place it into a boat or peer. It is the spotters' job
to help the noodler in case the fish is too heavy or the fish starts to
pull the noodler into the water.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
